WHAT #TWC HAVE FOR YOU TODAY

QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS SESSION WITH REV. (DR.) CHRIS OYAKHILOME.

Oyinda from UK asked, "If a Christian is lukewarm ( ie he/she is neither hot nor cold) will such an individual go to hell?"

Evangelist Eddy Owase answered, the issue of lukewarm is to be cold, carnal and not active. Every Christian should be active. Is unacceptable to be in church and not participate in the church. If he continues like this, he will go to hell.

Rev Tom added, "Jesus said he will vomit (the one who is Lukewarm) out of his mouth." This issue is very serious. A Lukewarm person is neither here nor there and that means he/she is disobedient to the heavenly vision. As a Christian, you cannot afford to be lukewarm.

Pastor Chris Concluded by saying, "A Christian who remains lukewarm will go to hell." Revelation 3:14 -20 And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; And unto the angel of the church of the Laodiceans write; These things saith the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation of God; 15 I know thy works, that thou art neither COLD NOR HOT: I would thou wert cold or hot. 16 So then because thou art LUKEWARM, and neither COLD NOR HOT, I will spue thee out of my mouth. 17 Because thou sayest, I am rich, and increased with goods, and have need of nothing; and knowest not that thou art wretched, and miserable, and poor, and blind, and naked: 18 I counsel thee to buy of me gold tried in the fire, that thou mayest be rich; and white raiment, that thou mayest be clothed, and that the shame of thy nakedness do not appear; and anoint thine eyes with eyesalve, that thou mayest see. 19 As many as I love, I rebuke and chasten: BE ZEALOUS THEREFORE, AND REPENT. 20 Behold, I stand at the door, and knock: if any man hear my voice, and open the door, I will come in to him, and will sup with him, and he with me.

From here, you can see that this particular Christian is an unprofitable servant. He is actually serving God. Mathew 25:30, "And cast ye the unprofitable servant into outer darkness: there shall be weeping and gnashing of teeth."

What is the faith of an unprofitable servant? He kept the gift that was given to him. The kingdom of heaven is liken to this... And the lukewarm Christian doesn’t have a hope except he/she repent and become zealous. You can not afford to be lukewarm as a Christian because the Holy Spirit has empowered you.
