Prayer is not wat d holy spirit does for u...rather wat he longs to do via u.

Prayer doesn't happen to u jst bcos ur saved-prayer is a training. Its an act. U learn it.
U cultivate d habit jst d way u do every oda habit.

We dnt wait to b led to pray or feel high in d spirit before we pray.

So PRAYER IS A NECESSARY TASK in Christianity.

The readin or study of the word is to birth a prayer man out of u.

One who truly studies d word will be given to prayers.
It IS SELF DECEIT TO SAY "I LIKE TO STUDY D WORD MORE THAN I PRAY"
That's laziness speaking.

Wat proofs u are effectively studying d word is d fervency of ur prayer life-it grows stronger n more consistent.

GOD WOULD RATHER TRUST A MAN OF PRAYER THAN A MAN OF KNOWLEDGE.

Knowledge can easily breed selfishness n pride...but prayer births selflessness n demonstrates humility.

DAILY PRAYER IS NOT A CHOICE OR OPTION-Its a necessity-mandatory for a MINISTER.

It will produce wisdom and direction in u n more so, help handle knowledge in love!

IF UR NOT PRAYING DAILY, YOU ARE JUST LAZY. NO EXCUSE.

cos u hv ur bath daily n brush ur teeth.
You talk daily

If u can talk daily, u can n shud pray daily.

IF U LOVE PREACHING TO PIPO OR POSTING TINS ON FB etc more than u love praying daily, u wil never rise above average- mark my words.
If u are looking for appraisals n applauds of men, sure u wil get dat from pipo like urself.

UR NOT WORTHY TO LEAD A SINGLE PERSON IF U LOVE TALKING N POSTIN TINS MORE DAN U PRAY

Posting tins n preaching can readily get u recognition. It appeals to d flesh.....but in prayer, no one even knows ur praying. It appeals to d spirit.

TRAIN URSELF IN DAILY PRAYERS.



EFFECTIVENESS IN CONSISTENT PRAYER LIFE

Why prayer seem like a burden to many saints especially younger ones is due to d follow following reasons:

They dont hv a prayer list- no particular person or concern in mind...so deir prayer has no direction. And wen u travel witout a direction in mind, boredom sets in

2-dey hv no regular fixed prayer time.
It's one tin to PRAY WHEN YOU WAKE UP...But it's anoda tin to WAKE UP AND PRAY!
The later is wat makes ministers!

3- They think prayer is for wen der is trouble and wen u need power.

NB:if u only pray wen der's trouble den ur really in trouble-Satan has u where he wants u.

And if u only pray wen u want to go n preach den ur like a pipe, connected to a water source, used to water flowers n plants but itself never gets wet.

ACTION!

Now write out at least 12 pipo ur going to start praying for(they could b saints, unsaved, pastors etc)

Choose a day in d week to always pray for dem

Choose a specific time n place on dat day

Allocate time for each of d 12 pipo(eg: u cud say i will pray for each person for 10minutes. Good)

Pray at least 1hour daily.

Be d kind of saint who WAKES UP TO PRAY

Pray more in d spirit Eph 6:18/1Cor 14:18

Lastly n d MOST IMPORTANT of all....PRAY!!!

Dnt finish writing dese tins n still do notin.

PRAY...PRAY...PRAY.

Be sensitive to d spirit... He will lay burdens n tins in ur hrt he wants u to pray for.....do it!

Sometimes he may hv u spend more Dan d allocated time for a particular person.do it.

However, just PRAY!!!
